Christeen Awad is a mixed media painter known for her vivid colours and expressive style. Her practice explores themes of individuality, society, and nature, studying their interrelationships. She primarily paints outdoors, connecting with the living spaces around her. Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at a young age, Christeen uses her art to process her pain and emotions, drawing from personal experiences to evoke emotional introspection and connection in her work.
